Disecting Owl Pellets
Mrs. Allen's class, as well as the other 5th grade classes, recently disected and examined owl pellets. The kids were amazed by what they found in the pellets. They found bones and hair of the various animals that the owls eat.

Ms. Cheever's fifth grade class recently wrote some Haikus. A haiku is a Japanese poem consisting of only three lines. The first line has five syllables, the second has seven syllables, and the last line has five syllables.
